Out Into The White Stare this Sunday with Hamilton Yarns, Mary Hampton and many more
An amazing event called Out Into the White Stare is taking place at the Unitarian Church on New Road on Sunday May 16th.
As well as a set from Mary Hampton and band, Mary writes, “we are on the bill alongside some of my all-time favourite Brighton acts: the weird and wonderful musical storytelling of Hamilton Yarns, warm bone-dry English beat-poet Gary Goodman, consummate modern percussion duo Adam Bushell and Tom Norrell, and kicking things off will be a short talk from legendary traditional folk singer Shirley Collins.”
Out Into the White Stare is a benefit gig to raise funds for the premier performance of Missa Humana, an extraordinary non-religious mass by poet Maureen Duffy and the late composer Dolly Collins.
Doors are at 7pm, tickets are £7.50/6.50 and are available in advance from the Dome Box Office. (01273 709709).
