Eyes & No Eyes tour starts tomorrow

Sons of Noel and Adrian to support GOBLIN

The headline says it all really – in what might well (perhaps sadly) be the best show of 2014, Sons of Noel and Adrian will support the mighty GOBLIN at the Brighton Concorde 2 on February 24th. Tickets and more information can be found here.

Willkommen guide to End of the Road festival

For those of you off to End of the Road festival this weekend, there are lots of Willkommen related bands that you should go and see.

FRIDAY

Woodpecker Wooliams at 12:30pm on the Garden Stage
Landshapes at 1pm on the Wood stage
Rachael Dadd at 1:45pm in the Tipi Tent

SATURDAY

Laish at 1:45pm in the Tipi Tent
Eyes & No Eyes at 2:45pm in the Tipi Tent
The Leisure Society at 5:15pm on the Wood Stage

SUNDAY

Ichi at 12:30pm in the Tipi Tent

We should have our own stage shouldn’t we?! Yes I think so too. We also highly recommend but aren’t yet affiliated with Joe Gideon and the Shark (0:30am, Saturday night, Tipi Tent), Bo Ningen (5pm, Sunday, Big Top) and the mighty David Byrne (9:30pm, Friday, Woods Stage) – one of the best live performers I’ve ever seen. This is quite a handy page for seeing all the stage times in one place. See you there!

Eyes & No Eyes single to be released 24th June

We’re delighted to announce that Willkommen will be releasing the debut single by Eyes & No Eyes.

The single features two live favourites, If No One Else Saw It and Flying Machine, and will be available as a limited 7″, super limited CD with handmade linocut cover, as well as digitally via iTunes, Amazon and all the usual outlets. You can hear short samples of both tracks below:

The band will be playing a special headline show at the Shacklewell Arms in London on Wednesday 3rd July. You can buy tickets here for £4, or for £6 you get a ticket and a copy of the 7″ on arrival! We’ll update you soon with further details on both the show and the release.

The band recently came down to Brighton and blew away crowds at our ECHO show with Damo Suzuki. You can also catch them at this year’s End of the Road Festival, Secret Garden Party and supporting Landshapes at their album launch for Bella Union.

Monday 22nd – The Castle Hotel, Manchester
Tuesday 23rd – The Bicycle Shop, Norwich
Wednesday 24th – Ort Café, Birmingham
Thursday 25th – Golden Lion, Bristol
Friday 26th – The Revelry, Exeter
Saturday 27th – Miss Peapod’s, Cornwall

All those shows also include supporting sets from Emma Gatrill and Martha Rose. Laish then play the following one-offs:
