Friday, March 2nd, 2012
The divine Kristin McClement will be performing on the 8th of March at the Marlborough Theatre.  Support comes from Stuart Warwick and Twenty One Crows who are both worth seeing too.
Our Kristin has recently joined forces with a new drummer – Julian Owen. And for this show she’ll also be joined by the very special Martha Rose on violin and Jakob Jonsson on trumpet. There’s a bit of information about KM’s upcoming album and new collaborations here. I’ve heard some of the album and it’s going to KILL YOU ALL.

Woodpecker Wooliams on tour with Fiona Sally Miller

Friday, March 2nd, 2012

Woodpecker Wooliams is off on tour to Germany / Switzerland for two weeks with Fiona Sally Miller on 6th March. The dates are here. If you want a tour treat email or Facebook either of them with your postal address and they’ll send you a postcard from one of the destinations.
They’re also both currently booking a second May tour for Russia / Ukraine / Poland.

Copies of the Russian re-release of ‘Patryoska’ (original Italian basket edition sold out) on cassette will soon be available, as will Chicago-based cassette label Love Lion‘s pressing of the collaborative film soundtrack ‘Anni’  made with OCDC.

Check out Woodpecker Wooliams here for more information. I heard she might have just recorded an album so that’s very exciting…
