New release: Eyes & No Eyes debut album

We are incredibly pleased to announce that we are releasing the debut album by EYES & NO EYES on March 31, 2014. Check out the enigmatic teaser video above, then head over to the Clash Magazine to listen to their exclusive premiere of the album track, Hidden Thieves.

Lava Jars release debut EP – Al Strachan and Andrew Jarvis duets

Lava Jars, an exciting new project from Al Strachan (of Hamilton Yarns, Sons of Noel and Adrian, Mary Hampton etc)  and Andrew Jarvis (of The Rhinestoned Immaculates and many more) have released their first collection of songs. You can stream it above or buy it from their bandcamp page. It’s a beautiful haze of synths, trumpets, drums and field recordings, I can’t wait to hear more from them.

Also watch Jean Painlevé’s 1965 film “Les amours de la pieuvre” with SONAA’s live score featuring both members of Lava Jars improvising below:

More free music from Eyes & No Eyes

Eyes & No Eyes have released two more free tracks, following a storming set to a packed out tent at End Of The Road Festival.

Check their Bandcamp page for a remix of ‘If No One Else Saw It’ by band members Marcus Hamblett (also of Sons of Noel and Adrian and more) and a remix of ‘Flying Machine’ by Richard Knox (of Glissando, The Rustle of the Stars and more).

Both the remixes and the original tracks are all available FOR FREE.

Eyes & No Eyes – If No One Else Saw It single and video released today

The debut single by Eyes & No Eyes, If No One Else Saw It, is released today on Willkommen Records. It is available via digital download or as a 7″ vinyl or extremely limited CD with hand made linocut sleeve.The best place to buy any of the three formats is directly from us over at Bandcamp (where the tracks are available digitally for FREE).

The fantastic blog Gold Flake Paint are running a premiere of the video accompanied by an interview with the band talking about the single as well as their debut album and announcing details of a conceptual side project about extinction… check out the video and interview here.

Why not buy the vinyl from real life shops made of bricks? Rough Trade (London), Resident (Brighton), Pie & Vinyl (Southsea) and Music’s Not Dead (Bexhill) all have copies available. You can also get the tracks in digital form from iTunes, Amazon MP3, Spotify and many other digital retailers.
